Wow. A lot of presumptions. "99% of women grew up in very dysfunctional families where trust and security was not modeled for them." What studies say that?

"The theory is that women know more about long term relationships and marriage and they don't. " In my two decades of writing research-based articles about relationships, I never came upon a study that said that. It is presumed that women "are the experts or ‘barometers’ of relationships," but that isn't necessarily so. The Gates' marriage ending isn't a failure—it ended because it wasn't healthy. Recognizing an unhealthy relationship isn't a failure. It's actually a huge success.
