Um, marriage isn't Christian. Lots of peole from all religions as well as those who are atheists and agnostics are married. (You do know the Church historically was against marriage.) No one is promoting material possessions—wasn't even brought up. Children actually ARE being mentioned; even if the family form is changed, children still have loving parents. So is good sex mentioned, but that doesn't matter to many people although marital counselors and experts do encourage couples to work on and maintain intimacy.

Married LATs are keeping their vows; they just may not be carrying them out under the same roof.
