Thanks for sharing your story Sunita. When my mom was in her 40s and my sister and I were out of the house, she left my dad and NYC, bought herself a condo in Miami (where my sister lived) and got herself a job and a life of her own. My dad came down with our dog to visit every month for a long weekend. They did that for about 10 years before he moved to Florida to live with her. I think that’s why they lasted 61 years! You are not weird — you are smart! ;-)
