I agree and disagree with what you’ve said. It’s dangerous and inaccurate to form an opinion based on what one has experienced/observed, or on info from just one source, like Medium. Which is why I read and use studies to inform my writing.

It’s gendered but not necessarily inaccurate that a husband does “most of the yard work and home repair. … finances, taxes, retirement savings, logical work and on and on,” but those are not every day all day stresses like attending to children and all the emotional labor that keeps a household functioning. And that is exactly what exhausts women — not only doing those chores, but having men, like you, who don’t acknowledge, understand and appreciate that labor.
