Actually, as women know all too well, the multibillion-dollar advertising business now co-opted by wellness industry a la Goop and influencers create the problem and convince women that there’s something fundamentally wrong with them and if they just try that diet, journal, follow what the most productive people do, bleach their whatevers, shove jade eggs up their whatevers, Botox, kickbox, download this mothering app, etc., we’ll finally be happy, ageless, fit, the perfect mother and, thus, lovable!
Nevertheless, yes on everything you said. I hope we can do it. Not sure most of us actually will. But, we can hope.
